Q:
What are your prices?
A: : You can call for current pricing or email
me.
Q:
How long have you been in business?
A: 2011 marks 37 years!
Fairhaven Organic Mill has been producing
the highest quality whole grain organic flours
on the planet!
Q:
Are your flours all organic?
A: Our flour is milled to order from the freshest pure organic grains we can
locate. We have always run only 100% organic grains
through our mills.
Q: Are you open to
the public?
A: We sell 25lb. and 50lb. bags locally.
We request that you call ahead. We are
a small operation, and it's difficult to
take care of customers while we are milling
flour.
Q: Where do you purchase
your grain? Is it local?
A: Our grain comes to us from dedicated organic growers through out the west. Because
each grain is specific to certain growing climates, they can only be produced
in certain parts of the country. We support local farmers whenever possible. In the past 3 years we have gone from 10% to 60% Washington grown grains.
Q: Do you ship flour?
A: Most of our customers arrange their own
shipping on larger orders. For small orders we are partnering to create an online store which you should see a link for soon.
Q. Do you have Gluten free flours?
We mill Millet, Buckwheat, Brown Rice, Blue & Yellow corn and Oats. These grains are milled on equipment that we also run some wheat. We clean our mill before running these grains and are working to dedicate this mill to 100% gluten free grains only
